Go to Waitrose and buy some nice peas and Waitrose honey and try for yourself. Oh, and pick up a bottle LEFFE beer and enjoy

It's very nice, though quite sweet.

Once you've cooked your peas, drain the water and return them to the pan, add a bit of butter and a spoon of honey and just gently heat and stir until the butter and honey are melted. Makes a nice variation on your standard peas!

Of course, if you're going by the poem, then set honey is better than runny honey to "keep them on the knife"!!!

I eat my peas with honey, I've done it all my life...
It makes the peas taste funny, but it keeps them on the knife...

i make a recipe which is a creamed type peas with cream butter and honey and kids like it ....good way to get them to eat veggies...

suppose it depends on what type of peas you use, i think processed peas would be disgusting but i can imagine petite pois to be quite nice.
