When my Google Earth application crashed, Application Error Reporting tool appeared. That's basically, not the problem. The problem appeared when I tried to send an error report to Microsoft after clicking the "Send Report" button. It claimed that my computer is not connected to the Internet even though I am already connected to the Internet. The title of the window shows "Active Internet Connection Required" and stated that I need to be connected to the Internet to send the report. How can I fix this problem? I've tried many methods, but it didn't work. Why can't Application Error Reporting tool connect to the Internet when I'm already connected to the Internet? Please help me, please... How to solve this problem? Please help me... And your help is kindly appreciated, truly I am.

In fact, this problem does not only occur in Google Earth. It also happens to other third-party applications in my computer. Well, this problem does not occur last time, not even in any crashed application. Last time, every time an application crashed (no matter what application it is), the Application Error Reporting tool could connect to the Internet and successfully sent a report to Microsoft. So, please help me, please...

If that's all you have to worry about, then you are one hell of a lucky person!
Different applications running next to each other do not always "communicate" well with each other. So Google Earth might (for whatever reason) have "thought" you are not connected, but in fact - say - Internet Explorer was connected, but "didn't tell anyone" (I purposely use this kind of simple language).
The Error Report doesn't do anything for you, it is a Microsoft tool to tell them where they have screwed up in their software, rather then getting it right first time.
Chill out.....

Why bother reporting it in the first place? Just reboot and hope the next upgrade will improve matters somewhat. It's a problem that goes away quickly when you just click no. I've never really heard of a single response to a application error report so don't hold your breath if you are waiting for one. Maybe it will work in Vista? But maybe not as already the security software mob are already complaining about the new O/S restrictions. Good luck!
