I cant see what every one is complaining about, I think this poem is a great statement about the state of this country.
I live in Luton where there are areas that white people wont go into.
If the immigrants / asylum seekers and all the other dross that turns up wants to live here then fine. Put them into a holding camp till they can be processed. If they are then to be let into the country fine if not send them back to their own country.
As for people that claim these immigrants do all the jobs the English wont do. What jobs. I have heard that whites wont empty the bins . Just seen the truck go past. All white . All English. Stayed at a hotel . All the staff were English and white.
The only people that use alot of this cheap labour is the tight fisted employers who can save a large amount of cash using them . Why pay tax and pension and proper wages when you don't have to.
Other countries in Europe have holding camps and it works . Only immigrants go there that want to be there legally.

I work and pay tax . I expected to be able to get a dentist but have given up on that one. I went to the Hospital to see a friend . he was on a trolley in the passage way . While the Indians were getting treated. THEY DID NOT EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH!!!!

When immigrants arrive make them sign a pledge of allegiance like the Yanks do. Make sure that they can speak English. I travel abroad due to work all the time and can currently speak 8 languages . but so many turn up and can only say benefits office. Make sure that they are loyal to this country not their old one. If they feel that strong about their old homes then send them back there as they love it so much.

Maybe if they felt that this was their own country they would not feel the need to blow it up.

Somewhere along the line asylum seekers and illegal immigrants became one and the same thing. There is a difference and not just the UK but almost all of Europe is conveniently blurring the issue.
According to the Geneva Conventions regarding refugees, those who are persecuted because of their race, religion, political leanings or ethnicity have the right to have their case considered in a fair process.
Ideally the European states would get together and establish the same criteria for acceptance, and illegal immigrants would be quickly separated from asylum seekers. Fat chance of that. The UK hasn't even signed the Schengen agreement.
Two solutions: UK citizens should accept the ID card. This would make it easier to track down illegals and over-stayers.
The UK, and other European countries should admit that illegal workers support the economy. They are paid peanuts and have no legal protection, they don't pay taxes or NHS contributions. They do the cr*p jobs that the nationals don't want to do.

Meggi, is a citizen of the world, she disowns her heritage, the one that countless people have died to create and later defend. I agree with Felicity O! The only thing is, why aren't the id cards going to be free? They're free in France, for example, so why not here?

BTW, dear question asker, "They come in turbans"? Most of the illegals in this country are European! And read the attached info about turbans - predominently worn by Sikhs! There aren't many illegal Sikhs in the country, matey-boy!

Why do you deserve a better standard of living just because you were born in england? You are selfish. No one decides where, when, and to whom you are born....you can't blame immigrants for wanting to live a better life. Doesn't everyone want a better life. Sorry, this poem was a bit boring so I didn't read it all but I guess the general gist is that you don't like illegal immigrants. Don't mean to be rude but I don't think you know your facts. Illegal immigrants are 'illegal' and therefore are not eligible for all the benefits you mention. In fact most illegal immigrants do work - that's the whole point of them coming here - to do the jobs the likes of you are too lazy to do!!!
