If you're pregnant and have a new piercing, you will have to take it out.
If you've had a belly piercing for a while, then you might not have to remove it depending on how well it has healed over time and how comfortable it is for you.
But I wouldn't bother getting it done, and going through the cost and the pain, just to have to remove it soon.

They are really going out of fashion and to be honest don't look nice. Wait and see if you're pregnant, however I can't see how it could affect yr baby apart from the well known fact that piercings can cause infection, some folk have actually died from having them as they are a point of entry for bacteria. Why not ry thinking ofsomething original, it's always better to be a trend setter rather than a trend follower. I wish you luck and happiness.

as opposed to only being 50% pregnant?
you should never get piercings of any kind if you are pregnant. If the piercing is there already, then it is still possible to wear the jewelry through most, if not all of the pregnancy.

There is no point in piercing your belly button until after the baby is born. Navels stick out the further along you get, and I would think a ring would be an irritant.

If you're pregnant, time to start being mature and not do things such as piercings. Think of your baby first.
