Staying up and using the Internet or watching TV is not a good idea since the stimulation will keep you awake.
If you have any favorite calm music try listening to it and focus on the lyrics while lying in bed. That way your are relaxing in bed and it's easier to fall a sleep. Also focusing on the lyrics will take your mind off your school work. If you doesn't manage to fall a sleep you will at least feel a little bit more rested than if you don't try it out.

I need a window open at night for fresh air. TV a couple of hours before you go to bed will speed up your mind this will stop you from sleeping. The computer also will agitate your mind, do you have an interest a book not related to school work. Go for a run before dark use up the energy. Slow down no coffee or tea both have caffeine. There is a lot of stress at your age do you have an interest in sport anything to take your mind of what is bothering you. Good luck sleep well

If you have a problem with your studies try talking to your class teacher about it and get it sorted out. See if she can give you tutorials. The teachers in England often give tutorials to students who feel they are getting out of their depths. Once you have sorted out your problems you will sleep a lot better. don't get over anxious about lessons...sometimes they fall in place after a little while. If your teacher doesnt help you ask your parents to sort the matter out. If they go to the school they will be able to do something. Do you have Open Day or Parents Day there where teachers discuss the students problems with the parents?

Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress, dietary and medical
problems. By making small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly, insomnia can be
cured. I found the information at http://tinyurl.com/jfzpz useful
for getting sleep.
