Good grief. Like the first 2 people said, the D100 is 6.1 MP.
3008 x 2000 (RAW images are recorded as 3034 x 2024)
If you're thinking of buying one, the D100 was a great camera. Apart from the build quality, the D70 is just as good, however.

The D100 has been discontinued by Nikon and replaced with the D80, which has over 10 megapixels. To step it up a notch, there is also the D200 with about 12 mp. Or, go all the way to the D2Xs - which is the top of the line Nikon and one of the best on the market. For my use, I can get by with the D80 and it is a great camera, if you can find one. They are in short supply due to being new to the market and extremely popular.
