well...it all depends how he entered the US. if he entered the US legally with his passport and then overstayed his visa, then you could (if ur a US citizen) marry him here in the US and file for an adjustment of status for ur husband ...he will not have to leave US...adjustment of status meaning you are petitioning for your husband to become a permanent resident...normally it would take 3-4 yr until ur husband is given his permanent residency...pending the legitimacy of marriage and all....but if "this wonderful guy from Honduras" sneaked into the US without any papers ...he might have to return back to Honduras for you to petition for his green card ( residency papers)....contact a lawyer...they will help you with the best course of action to be taken in your case.....

Good luck, cause your going to need it. With the current backlash against illegal immigrants I can't imagine many doors being open to you two. I don't know the laws or restrictions but there must be some sort of advocacy group that would have that information. Try using google search and see what you get.

u can get married, but this won't change his legal status. he won't get a free legal card or residency or whatever. u will just be exactly that-married. if u love him follow through w/it, if ur doing it only for papers um it's not gonna work. this is nothing to take lightly, think about what ur gonna do before it blows up in ur face!
