I bought and installed a Panasonic in car system about 4 years ago, cost about £1400.00 . at that time the portable ones were almost useless. I recently bought a TomTom 710 and I am totally amazed at the accuracy and features it has, they have come so far in the past couple of years, and the new Tom Tom range appears to be the best of the bunch.
