If so, can you give me an example of a 2,000HP Skyline?

There's no reason why they cannot.

A HUGE turbo or two - engine rebored to 3 litres, mega strong con rods and pistons etc and then to top it off....lots and lots of NOS

Your problem though is going to be putting all that power through the transmission to the ground. Its a major rebuild of almost all the components of the car.
Hugely expensive and probably not very reliable, but then if your going to do it then a Skyline is one of the best cars around to do it to.

No, you can not bolt things on to a Skyline to make 2000 hp. EVERYTHING under the hood would have to be replaced. The RB26 block wouldn't even support 2000 hp.

The most (real) horsepower I've ever heard coming from a Skyline GTR is about 1100. And even modding up to 1100 hp would cost you probably $50,000.

WOW!!! 2,000 HP!!!

Um...I think that's kinda pushing it a little far.

I have heard of over 1,000hp in a Skyline, considering the block is rumored to be capable of withstanding that kind of power...but I dont think 2,000 is a very realistic number for an RB26.

i could tune my chevy cavalier to have 2000 horsepower.

take out the engine, put in a new 572 (have to extend the hood and cut a huge hole in the firewall) in, with twin turbos. big exhaust, high octane fuel, the list goes on.

if you got the money, it can be done. many years ago people asked "can we get to the moon?"
well we sure did, we just had to switch from regular rockets to massive ones. you can do anything with the right tools and a thick enough wallet. well, except teach an old dogs new tricks. that's just not possible.
