I consider it a girly drink. I consider all mixed drinks to be somewhat girly.

probably more manly than white russian but more girly than a vodka martini straight up. i know lots of guys that drink things i think are really girly like sex on the beach -- so what do i know?

Drinks are drinks and the potency depends on what the drinker prefers. How fast one wants to get wasted...etc...
I know many girls who can out drink a guy anytime. Myself included.
There is no such thing as 'manly' drink or a 'girly' drink...a drink..is a drink..is a drink.......

i used to be a bartender and both men and women would order black russians, so i think it's just a drink, not manly or girly.

I didn't think many people still drank Black Russians.
I did, about 25 years ago. I did know of 2 guys who drank them and usually got wasted on them. THey can sneak up on you.
Add cream or vanilla ice cream and you have a White Russian; delicious!!!! but fattening, which is why I stopped drinking them. Also any drink made with liqueur (like Kahlua) is high in sugar content and fattening..

it's a girly drink, it is just kahlua and vodka, come on a man drinks stronger drinks that that.
