i have been kissing (no sex)my roommate who is also a friend, for past 3 weeks.he really likes me but doesn't want a relationship for time being as just moved into country.

would this type of relationship help in any way once he decides he wants to start a relationship, if he ever decides to do this with me (assuming i am still single by that time)?

also, am i being a good challenge to him by not sleeping with him unless we are in a relationship?

depend on his personality and what kind of a guy is he...if he says he doesnt want a relationship, i dont think it has anything to do with being new in a country..

He does not want a relationship. So what is the point of your kissing him?Whats the challenge?Just because your not sleeping with him?It sounds like blackmail to me.Most people do not respond very well to that.
One thing to think about. What if your kissing and things get too hot and heavy. And he cant stop. Are you going to yell rape?Sometimes is does happen to good guys.Especially if the girl leads him on.
He is your roommate. So stop it before something happens that you both will regret.

If he is European, then the kissing could just be that, kissing. And if he told you that he doesn't want a relationship, then get over it and find someone who does.

If you are planing a quick relation than go ahead but if you plan a long term with this guy than no. Stop it. He's new and not ready to settle if you know what I mean.
