What creates those zig-zagged lines on the bottom of most candy bars you look at?

if you get a thousand consecutivly made candy bars and arrange them in a square,the lines are actually a very small inscription naming everyone in the world that has herpes....true!..im on there...

the chocolate molds they are in. if those lines werent there the chocolate would stick inside the mold and not want to come out. the lines create non-uniformity and make it so they can come out. plus they look cool.
