in a relationship for about 10 years. What is the downside to starting over at that age?

You are a baby sweetie. Your thirty's is when life begins. Please don't waste time thinking you are too old. Because ten years from now you will wonder what you were thinking. It's a shame to spend your YOUTH thinking senior citizen thoughts. A ten year relationship can make you feel old but it's not you that's old. It's that relationship.

No worries babe. I understand your worries. There's no downside, u will say u only have more to offer. I am 29+ when i got into this new 5 months plus relationship of mine after getting out from a marriage of 6 years. There's always someone for u at every stage of your life

of course you do! you can always start all over again and find maybe a better one or the worst one which is the downside. starting a new relationship is good and bad, good because you're still sweet and cuddly like a honeymoon stage, bad because it will notice his bad side or things that you don't like and not used to. But my advice take a chance, go and have some fun!

Yes, you have a very good chance. I "started over" in my thirties after a failed marriage, and now again in my fifties after a ten-year live-in relationship broke up. I'm now happily in the third major relationship of my life.

You have to work at it, and be prepared to risk rejection and the odd broken heart. If you are looking to buy a house or a car, how much research do you do, and how many do you look at, before you buy? You don't just sit at home and wait for the house to come to you, do you?

Finding a partner is much more important than either of those purchases, and yet we expect fate to deliver him to us. It used to work that way, in the days when we all had large families with lots of relations, all of whom had friends and connections. Not any more!

You have to be prepared to get out there and go looking. Join evening classes or clubs (but choose subjects that men are interested in too!), try internet dating, go to singles functions.

Good luck!

Oh why not. By all means you are welcome!!!!
This is the prime age for sex. A lady at the age of 30 knows how to chew the juice and convert a man into a dry well.

No downside so long as she doesn't make the same mistake twice. She must also be patient and no settle for the first thing with a dangly bit

The only problem is meeting losers that want to be with her. She has the option to boot them to the curb and one day when she least expects it, Mr. Right will enter her life.

I don't think this would be a problem as long as you re-package yourself. Look at those re-conditioned and re-boxed electronic stuff like DVD players/phones etc.....they were used and returned by their previous owners, and they had no problems being re-sold again at a dicounted price...........
