Executive means nothing these days, it depends on the job, the responsibilities, the company you are working for.

For example sales executive could be as low as £12,000 pa +commision of a further £3,000pa for some never heard of company or even fro some of the better known ones

Executive director of a large corperation could hundreds of thousands a year.

It varied depending the company, the position, and the person.

To give you a reading, administrative assistants can make as much as fifty or sixty thousand a year in a good-sized company, a software designer may make fifty dollars an hour (104,000 a year). It is probably safe to say that many executives make between 160,000 and 250,000 a year (but, again, it just varies from position to position, person to person, etc.).

That information can be easily found for public companies. go to finance.yahoo.com and look for the company you want. When you find it, look to the right and click on "Key Statistics"

Here is an example.... Scroll down and look to the right and you will see a pay chart.
