Suggest the Ana Mandara on Polk st, owned by Don Johnson and created by Aline Ho. A wonderful Vietnamese restaurant with a good bar, very exclusive and a great place to have a chat.

honestly, It doesn't matter. Once you hit the city there are places on every corner. If possible I'd say stay away from the embarcadero, or the other side where the University is, just because it's always so cold on the edges of the city nearer the water, and it's nice to be comfy on a date/meeting/whatever.

Cliff homestead has the view. The nutrition is so-so and somewhat overvalued yet you're truly paying for the view. in case you bypass, then be particular you reserve your table through the window an hour earlier sundown. in case you want good nutrition, Quince is a magnificent little eating position. Fleur De Lys or Michael Mina are outstanding in case you could manage to pay for them... look into the eating position web content through googling them to get an interior peek...
