I don't helucinate, and no one has ever acted in a manner to believe that I have. I don't have weird activities. But I feel that at any moment I might explode in random song and dance. I realize that some of the people around me do really dumb things, I watch them in their actions, and I am trying to figure out how they continue to process their situations like they do. I watch as they do it, and I know a much more efficient way of doing something and It is driving me nuts. What is wrong with me? Or is everything else but me wrong?

The diagnosis of a mental illness usually involves a number of sources and instruments, including a personal history, a physical exam, an evaluation of behavior, a symptom inventory, condition-specific instrument (such as the Beck Depression Inventory), and other information as suggested by the history (including neuroimaging and blood tests) in order to arrive at a diagnosis. In the U.S., criteria for the diagnosis of a specific mental illness are given in the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

Wanting to burst out and sing and dance isn't insanity, it's clearly liking a song. If this has been going on for a while then there might be a reason for why this is happenning. Don't get too worried though, if you were insane you probably wouldn't be able to type on the computer because you would be scared that the computer virus will come into you or something stupid like that.

Sometimes I get the urge to drive into oncoming traffic. I know I never would of course, but it's a fleeting thought. Or I might get an urge to suddenly smash a coffee cup. I think it's just an overactive mind. Don't worry!

I wish I could be you...you sound like there is NOTHING wrong with you. I would say you are normal, but normal is just a cycle on a washing machine. From the information given, you appear to be happy and rather well adjusted.

Normal. Not crazy. People are always doing stupid things, coz we are not all alike. Maybe you could suggest your own ideas or write them down.

I know it seems like if they did things your way it would be better. But they must do things to learn, even if they makes mistakes. And sometimes they do some very amazingly right things, and you can learn from them by watching.

Watch them and learn to enjoy their differences and try to find any wisdom they have.
And please sing and dance now and always!

To determine if you are indeed insane you must fashion a hat made from aluminum foil. When you don the hat if you still hear voices you are clinically insane. If the voices go away whilst wearing the hat you are fine. But be wary of the monkeys....

You may be right, or you may just be thinking too hard. Might want to talk to a health professional if you are really dwelling on this a lot, but I always say while it's not crazy to talk to yourself, it is when you answer yourself in a different voice...

i have the same feeling.
you are not crazy.
you are just feeling repressed... or like youre a robot in this oppressive society.
the government makes us feel this way... they cause us to feel tense and never at ease....
we feel like we have to behave at all times to the point that we can never be ourselves for fear of being labeled crazy, dangerous or even a terrorist, and then treated as such.
so we walk around on eggshells every day of our life, chanting the pledge of allegiance because if we aren't with them, we are with the terrorists.
what a miserable place this America is, when we have to fear our own selves.
