Have her job act like there is an important meeting that someone form her job needs to attend. Then have her boss in on it and act like he/she can't go and they ask her to go instead. But you already have it all planed out and have it be in some romantic place like maybe another state or some where alittle far away from where you live so that way she has to stay at a hotel. Then let the hotel know so that way when she goes and checks in you have the front desk call you. Then you light candles all around the room and put red rose petals all around the room. So when she walks in you can come around the corner with the ring and then propose.

Is to be unique ,creative and spontaneous. an idea would be to print "marry me" on individual pieces of paper and place them on the outside of you bedroom window facing in.(making sure the blinds are closed and is in the correct order). when she goes to open the blinds she will get the surprise of her life.
