The Knot, as unique and traditional gifts for the bride and groom. A thing that my family does, is give a pair monogram socks, to wear at our wedding, so they will always remember them and wear them when we go out and who knows what else! :-)
It is a Family Tradition, passed on, so many years ago, and lucky me, I get to do it all over again, since I got divorced from my Ex, after I was pregnant with our son, and he, at the time, did not want a childl But, I am happy and so is my son, and of course, my Fiancee! He tells me how important I am and how lucky he is to have a woman like me. I am shy, but he is a great man, and as I get older, I see I am marrying a man, soooooo different than my first husband, and that was the goal, as my Ex changed and he even stated he will never marry again, except to me, and I keep telling him, he hurt my feelings and my sons, by leaving us, BEFORE, our son was born!

I made arrangements for a weekend away at a lovely resort with a golf course. We had a ball golfing, fishing, dancing, dining, and (cough cough) LOL If your hubby likes sports, you may want to get tickets to a special game for him plus do the dinner thing and then the romance! It doesn't matter if you love to go to sporting events etc, You are giving HIM something from your heart that HE will love. He will adore you for it!

Maybe the giving of yourself as his prize, the unavailing of your body. I know in my heart that's what most guys look forward to on their wedding night and Anniversaries . Believe me any trip or plans would come in second place .A man likes to feel connected to his bride ,wife , any time and any where.

Told my wife I was taking a seminar. I was actually taking cooking classes & cooked her a full course meal. She still raves about that 3 years later.
