when i made tost, only bottom side got toasted. do i have to turn it, then put it back in? i didnt use any tray, but the rack. were can i find recipes?

not set on broil, that was turned off. was only at med-for toast.

my toaster has heating element on both top and bottom..

yes you can use it for toast, why have a toaster+ toaster over?????duh

Yes you do, as the heating element is only on the top of the toaster oven. Just leave it in a bit shorter time the second side. Libraries have some great cookbooks including ones for toaster ovens, and ebay sometimes has them too. Write to the manufacturer of the toaster oven, and they may send you a free cookbook to go with it as well. (most small appliances come with a recipe book) A toaster oven is not a toaster... they are two different appliances. You can do more with a toaster oven though.

There's usually a toast control that will brown both sides at the same time. You probably had it set to broil.

does your toaster oven not have a heating element on the top side? usually they all have them.

It's probably broken, it should toast both sides at once.

when you toast your bread you have to turn them over as they brown. use your tray to find recipes go online and find some

maybe it is set on one side toasting.
read the manual
