i can't give you the specific answer since i'm not a guy. but i have a theory of my own.
Guys love the chase. He'll try soo hard just to get girl, especially the hot one. When he got her, he'll show off. And when they're together, he got bored cause he n the girl dont have anything in common. Well, of course, he pretends to like what she like to get her, but he can't fake them forever. So, he dumped her, and show off to his friends again.
Guys like to be the player, they think its cool.
Well, guys are kinda stupid. You can't blame them.

my opinion well its either a BET or they just do simply for the fun of it tats all....
they kinda show off that they can get the gal than after the gal has fallen for them , they decide to call it quits!! JERKS!!!
