Yes, alcohol is very high in sugar content.
The uti bacteria LOVE sugar it feeds them!
For every drink you should drink a glass of water.
You might need antibiotic but cranberry pills are very good. The enzyme in cranberry prevent the bacteria from affixing to the inside wall of your bladder. Don't drink cranberry juice! Too much sugar!
Go to the nutrition store and ask for cranberry capsules!

Thought you were suposed to drink Clear beverages...So stick with the Vodka, Zima, Everclear...But get a hundreth opinion or it might hurt!
