did you know that not a single pawn shop accepted this ring because the initials didn't go with that individual. And did you know that I have founf about 300 class rings going back to 1860 and was able to reunite it withit's riteful owner. But where do they go since noone accepted it?

Usually they are melted down and the gold reused.

Pawn Shop or Thrift Stores like the Salvation Army and Goodwill Industries.

I think there should be a law against pawn shops or jewelers to buy a class ring unless the person selling it can show proof of ownership such as a receipt showing when, and where purchased.

Normally a pawn shop for cash or a jeweler to get melted down. If you lost one, good luck ever getting it back.

Lost my HS ring at 20, never seen or heard of it since.

Toa fairytale land where everyone is honest and can magically track down the owner of the property...

In their pocket and to a pawn shop most often. If you can't find the owner what else would you do with it?
