The National Poetry Contest had come down to the final two contestants, a Yale graduate and a redneck from Texas. They were given a word, then they were allowed two minutes to study the word and come up with a poem that contained the word. The word that they were given was "Timbuktu."
First to recite his poem was the Yale graduate. He stepped to the microphone and said:
'Slowly across the desert sand
Trekked a lonely caravan;
Men on camels, two by two
Destination Timbuktu.'

The crowd went crazy! No way could the redneck top that, they thought. The redneck calmly made his way to the microphone and recited:

'Me and Tim a huntin' went.
Met three women in a pop up tent.
They was three, and we was two,
So I bucked one, and Timbuktu.'

money prize poetry contest? what's the prize - 2 cents? (and don't you basically hate those those with diverse avatars?) Your new internet site could be a success, what with EP's cutting-edge attraction for help and now a bribe to offer it a seem-see. Annabella, Iano's works have been revealed international for almost 1 / 4 of a century, in books magazines and periodicals below a form of names, yet one specially. If i replaced into attracted on your (or each and every man or woman else's) opinion or popularity of my information i does not have used pseudonyms. you will have faith it once you spot it? I kinda think of you have missed the element on the subject of pseudonyms. apparently, a lot of my fiercest critics seem to love my stuff while published below different avatars - you among them. it is why, inspite of in spite of absolutely everyone says approximately Iano, i will continually have the final chuckle. Do I care? have faith me, this isn't any longer a difficulty.
