I am originally from Chicago and know they have the best pizza in the world there. I then lived in Florida for 30 years and just recently relocated to South Jersey. Well, there is no good pizza around here, so I would have to say my own. Try this. Pita bread, has to be good and fresh. Put the toppings you like on the bread and slide it into a 400 degrees oven for about 15-20 minutes. It is thin-crusted which is a real Chicago thing & as far as I am concerned, thin is in. It gets real crispy. We all love it, we all want it and we all eat it here. We have tried every pizza place close by and ones far, far away & they just don't get it. Unfortunately, I can't even find decent sausage here. I have been able to find pretty decent mozarella. I make my own sauce. When we are lazy, we just use sauce from a jar. I got to find a place to get decent sausage. Like they have in Chitown. So the best ever pizza will be your own.

Phenomenal deep dish pizza in Chicago. Incredible!
90% of Chicago pizza is thin crust actually. And I like that better than New York style as well. Its more crunchy and they aren't afraid to put sauce on it! I live in Florida and the darn NY style pizza has so little sauce on it, you need a microscope to see it.

It depends on my mood...for an appetizer or quick bite...I really like buffalo chicken pizza...yummm....use wing sauce in place of pizza sauce...diced chicken.. red onion....and drizzled with ranch or blue cheese crumbles.
When having a sit down meal with a salad my favorite would definately be stuffed spinach and garlic from Giordanos.
