This is what the Bible (in the New Testament) teaches:
"Each of you must give what you have decided in your heart, not with regret or under compulsion, since God loves a cheerful giver." (II Corinthians 9:7)
Therefore, give what you have decided in your heart to give. Don't feel obligated to give more than you are personally comfortable with.
The Methodists are a Christian denomination, and the standard for Christians is what I quoted above.

He can attend Catholic Mass. As a non-Catholic nevertheless, he can't obtain Communion. you may attend Methodist centers with him. As a Catholic nevertheless, you may't obtain Holy Commuion in a non-Catholic Christian Church. additionally, you may't "replace" weekly Catholic Mass attendance with the Methodist provider. be sure you have time for the two in case you need to wait Methodist provider.

Well, the tithe is a carry-over from the Old Testament, which would be about 10%. But there is no set amount. Go with what you are comfortable with.

The amount would be whatever you would want to give joyfully.
If in your heart you do not want to give at all, then do not give, but do be in prayer about it, God wants joyful givers of money and self, and there is nothing in it for God or you if you give out of obligation.

Give whatever you can. If it's $100, give it. If it's nothing, then give nothing. There is no requirement in any REAL Christian church. If you feel inclined to give, then give. If not, don't.

Really a tithe (10%). It's all about trust. Do you trust Him? You will be blessed. Cindy has a better answer

It's a balance between what you think is appropriate to support their ministry, and what you can afford to give.
