Some people says, When 9/11 was happ, US was in War.
The People Killed in 9/11 is Just The Drop in the Ocean of People Killed By Americans Starting from Hero Shima & Naga saki, I think US Peopls should stop cripping about 9/11 now, that was just the reaction of US foreign policy and was nothing more.

Where as Islam is a peaceful religion and Muslim reacts against those who creat war stiuation must to war with. And that the fact.
even if you give example of now a days terrirst acts which might be done from other religion's people in the name of Islam to get the world opinion against muslims just for the political reasons.

you are absolutely right.not only the USA, any country should not interfere with the internal affairs of any sovereign country.leave the problems of that country to its citizens. after the collapse of the USSR, the USA is playing the role of super cop and invading other countries who are rich in oil and threatening third world countries if they don't fall in line with that of the USA.before the USA invaded there were no religious terrorists in Iraq, but now it has become a breeding ground for terrorists and sectarian violence raised its ugly head.it seems the USA did not learn a lesson from its humiliating defeat in Vietnam war

The rest of the world won't act in any positive way, if the US doesn't. Look at Kosovo. The Europeans would get fully involved until the US threw its weight behind the operation. The world is not a perfect place at all, and by "minding our own business" we end up allowing threats to world security emerge unchecked. The US tried to ignore the world after WWI. We refuesed to help Europe, we refused to help the Jews. It took a direct attack on our nation before we realized the threat that was really out there.

It may be popular to attack the US and make it out to be the enemy, but if the US were to suddenly pull back and ignore the world, it would not take long for the rest of the world to miss the US' global presence.

It's nice to think of the world in idealist ways, but the world doesn't work that way. The "if you leave me alone, I'll leave you alone" idea doesn't work. As the global hegemon, the US has an obligation to make global affairs its business.

You mean 3 humans, 2 can get along fine, 3 is where they fight over eachother... heh heh he..

And American isnt the only reason there is war, look at religion... Islams vs Christianity.. etc etc

Race... Wealth... Greed and power... Ability to kill...

There will never be peace among society, there will always be murders and etc... But among nations is when all nations agree to one consituition and or become one government of democracy ... Other then that...

You can conquer nations until they are all yours... But this is Civilization IV...

Gee, funny thing here -- the U.S. did not invade Afghanistan until AFTER the 9/11 attacks . . .

but WE're the cause of the war?

The U.S. did not start the war in Kuwait, rather we were asked to come over there and bail out Saudi Arabia from Saddam's adventurism . . .

but WE were the cause of the war?

The U.S. did not invade Vietnam -- we were asked to come and help defend the South from a Communist North Vietnamese invasion . . .

but somehow WE started the war?

The U.S. did not enter World War 2 until AFTER the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor . . .

but WE were the cause of the war?

The U.S. wasn't involved in World War I until after the sinking of the Lusitania by German U-boats . . .

but WE were the cause of the war?

Why don't you get your head out of your rectum! We've tried the isolationist route, and all it got us was more dead. So now we're being proactive, and fighting on the enemy's turf, rather than our own.

Let's see: Taliban (of Pakistan) hangs people out and brutally murders them for stealing fruit. America, on the other hand, puts up courts and fairly judges how much time they pay in jail for stealing. Taliban is out there threatening the U.S. Taliban and Al-Queda fly planes into the twin towers. If the U.S. had done this to them, we would have been brutally murdered. When we catch them, we give them fair justice.

There was not peace before the USA was formed... but it is interesting that those America has supplied weapons to are the groups America is currently fighting.

No man kind is geared for conflict. There are no times in human history when there was a true "cold peace".

There will be far fewer deaths, less money by far spent on weaponry, and many more benefits - like a flowering of democracy in America, and enough money for the universal health care we need to remove the cost of health care that's added to every american product. ridiculously uncompetitive.

there will not be peace for several reasons. 1)to quote a reggae prophet: there won't be no peace, till man gets equal rights and justice. 2)when the despots of the middle east no longer have american injustice to distract and inflame their people with, they will have to deal with their populace constructively. i hope that'll be a peaceful transition, but i doubt it. 3)US is ignoring the terrible tragedies ongoing in most of africa today, yet they go on without us.

there are 'christian' warriors in some parts of africa who terrorize a whole generation of children through mutilations, rape, and mass murder. An argument could easily be made that Africa is suffering the fallout of the brutal colonialization they endured, but that was at the hands of europe, not USA.

Lastly, is it always good to mind your own business? Should we ignore the plight of the Palestinians, for example?

No. We are out of control right now because of lies and distortions and denial, but don't confuse this episode with American History. We can do better than this without trying if we would just get out of our own way.
There is one major hope, the conservatives, neocon's and lock-step Republicans may be on their way out of power. I hope that God will help us in this situation because she is the only one who can make this come out right.
But Vote anyway!!

No but you seem to think so. There will always be wars when there is land, oil, or anyother kind of wealth involved.
