He was a former fight promoter and owned gyms in Las Vegas. When he found out that the UFC was for sell he got with his business partners and the rets is history. Really a smart man.

He's a smart guy who bought a company when it was bankrupt and worthless then used his conections and friends in the buisness to turn it into a billion dollar corporation in only a few years.
