Old Dan Tucker was a mighty man,
Washed his face in a fryin' pan,
Combed his hair with a wagon wheel,
Died with a toothache in his heel.

Get out the way, Old Dan Tucker,
You're too late to stay for supper,
Supper's over now breakfast 's cookin',
Old Dan Tucker just stands there lookin'.

So git out of the way for old Dan Tucker, he come too late for his supper, now itz breakfast cookin and Old Dan Tucker stands there lookin!
It is claimed that he is a ficticious mountain man but he was known of when I was young and in school we sang about him and were told he was a western Rocky Mountain explorer and if I remember correctly they said he came from around Sweet Water
so believe in him or not, he was sung about.
