It all depends on YOUR level of pain tolerance.... no one can tell you how much its going to hurt on your body.... only on theirs (if they got one)

It all depends on the person because I have one on my lower back... and the initial 5 minutes hurt like hell to the point that I wanted them to stop, but then after that... I actually enjoyed it - I could just be a weirdo because I've enjoyed most of my tattoos.
You basically kinda get used to it the pain, but every once in a while they'll hit a certain spot to make you wince, but then you get back into it all over again, if that makes sense.

I have a tattoo on my shoulders, and that hurt alot, I think your lower back wold be even more sensitive.
It depends on what pain tolerance level you have. If getting shots hurt you, I'd think about it for a while. I give blood and it doesn't bother me, but when I got a tattoo I was surprised that it was pretty painful.
If you still want to get it, have a friend go with you to hold your hand and cheer you on. :)

One of my daughters did that. It shows when she wears lowcut jeans, or a shirt that doesn't come to her waist. She said it was long and torturous. She thought she was going to pass out. The problem is, hers is right over the top crest of her hips. ( like when you put your hands on your hips, imagine it goes from the thumb on the right to the thumb on the left.) Very boney there, not much to cushion the needle, you know? Think about it before you do it, OK?

WELL, I HAVE 8 TATTOOS, HOWEVER NONE ARE ON MY LOWER BACK. I HAVE WATCHED WHILE OTHER PEOPLE HAVE GOTTEN BACK PIECES...............THEY SAY IT HURTS........HOW MUCH PAIN CAN YOU TOLERATE? HOW BADLY DO YOU WANT A TATTOO?

like hell but it was well worth it. if you let them touch u once they have to finish it. that will make you deal with the pain. u dont want a half-asz tattoo

It hurts a LOT ... and the worst part is the regret afterwards. DON'T DO IT !!!!!!!!!!!
