If I went to West Point by the end of my four years would i be a doctor? even though doctors do 3 yrs residency? basically if I get in, do the classes I fouc on primarily be Medicine?

it is definetly a military academy, where many of the finest officers were trained. But I do believe that they have a medical course where you train to be a field medic. so thats what you might have heard.....

the military medic would probably do more of tending to wounds, bullet removal sugeries, and such. It would require less of the medicine and chemical stuff than the doctor, although there is some.

no it is a military academy. the medical part is for medical drs. on the front lines, ( think M*A* S*H 4077th)
