Hi, i exercise each day, minimum of 1 and a half not including PE at school. I eat alot of foods, like i believe i over eat about 400-1000 calories each day. however most of that food, is fruits and vegetables, no deepfried crap, no junk food, no sodas, and made like 1/50 sweets. I barely eat any food that has alot of fat (20% +), like i mean, barely, like maybe once or twice a week. Even though i watch this fat intake, but i eat too much food and over eat the amount of calories, i need in one day. Will i still grow fat? I am 5'11" male 16 years old, and weigh 138 pounds. Please, answer seriously. Thank you. So my main question is, even though i intake more calories, than needed, but stay away from fat foods, will i still grow fat?

When you pinch your stomach, how do you know if it is skin or if it is fat?

Carbohydrates are stored as fat if they are not used as energy.
Fat satisfies you more quickly & is not stored as fat.
It sounds as if you have a very good diet. You are still growing and using a lot of calories so you eat more than a male who has already reached his max growth. Your appetite will gradually decrease as you reach maturity. Just remember to eat slowly & don't over eat to the point you feel uncomfortable. Good luck!

Sure you'll be able to placed on weight consuming low fats meals... Fat content material by myself does not check how so much weight some thing goes to purpose you to obtain. What's main is component dimension, how by and large you devour, and what sort of you're employed off once more by way of everyday undertaking. Starving your self truthfully has the reverse end result if you are seeking to shed pounds (till you achieve the tipping factor and pass from hungry to malnurished). When you prevent consuming till you cannot prevent it any further, your frame begins to maintain directly to the whole thing you provide it, and also you truthfully obtain weight alternatively than wasting it. If you wish to shed pounds, devour smaller quantities at consistent, and extra common, periods (4 to five small foods an afternoon versus three tremendous foods). That continues your metabolism up, and shall we your frame method the meals extra successfully. And or direction you must undertaking as good.

5'11 at 138 pounds is extremely thin. As long as you eat healthy and exercise, I doubt you'll get fat. Another factor that plays in is what your natural body type is and how fast your metabolism is. At 16, your metabolism is probably really really high, and since you have a naturally thin frame, it would be hard to get fat, unless you completely let yourself go, stopped exercising entirely, and ate nothing but junk food for months on end. And even then, you still might not get fat!

Weight gain has as much to do with calories as it does the type of calories you ingest. If you eat wholesome foods, but eat a lot of them, you will gain weight. It could a mixture of muscle and fat, but none the less, you will gain weight. The way that fat accumulates is that 1 gram of fat contains 9 calories. Protein and carbohydrates contain 4 calories per gram. Fat also is not converted to energy as easily as carbohydrates. It is converted more easily than protein, though. So the more fat a person eats, than obviously the more calories they will ingest. Fats also do not satisfy hunger as readily as carbohydrates and proteins. This causes people to ingest more. Fats are also not digested as fasat as protein and carbohydrates.
If you are gaining weight and want to do it safely, try to keep the calories more on the complex carbohydrate and protein side and less fats and simple carbohydrate side. Also cut back on your exercising, Instead, when you do exercise, do more intense and strenuous exercises.

as long as you take in more calories than you burn off you will gain weight.
losing weight is not about dieting. its about having the integrity to do what you know you need to do to lose weight. burn off more than you take in. its a little like being rich. if you spend less than you make you wil always have money. but if you spend more money than you make you will be poor. so being slim and fit is really just a choice.

You will put on weight if you reduce the amount of time spent on physical activities (e.g. running, playing sports, walking, etc.) regardless of how much you eat. It all depends on how your body reacts to how much energy you expend for your daily activities.
