I'm gonna assume you've tried to change your environment in order to get the best sleeping conditions. I had sleeping problems for a while and I went through just about every pillow, scent, temperature, and darkness that I could possibly change.
After all of these things were in perfect order, I just had to 'get tired'. I found that I was not completely exhausted at the end of the day. I started going to the gym and playing golf. Just being physical was not enough though. I also needed to be mentally exhausted. I started taking up new hobbies and reading a lot.
Finally, I found that if I kept activities out of the bedroom that I slept better. The more I read in bed, the harder it was to sleep. Watching tv in bed is the worst.
Hope this helps.

Try some melatonin 1-2 mg or valerian root 1 cap at bedtime.
Chamomile tea is very calming.
Take a multivitamin daily and a calcium-magnesium-zinc pill twice a day.
Sleepy Time herbal tea is often useful
Sit in a comfortable chair. Close your eyes. As you slowly inhale think the word "peace". Then slowly exhale and think "peace". Repeat for for 15-30 minutes. This simple meditation should help you relax.
Hope this helps. Good luck!

Try Benadryl, it is one of the safest medicines out there, and it works great! (so safe dr.s will tell you to give it to children, and pregnant women who can't sleep) Also no chance of getting "hooked". As for the warm bath, you should take that at least an hour before you plan on going to bed, and make sure room you are sleeping in is cool. Cut off any tv's computers ect an hour before bed and try reading instead...just don't do it in bed, or anything else for that matter except for sleeping.

Well it seems to me that your mind is racing when it's time to sleep, and that keeps you from getting totally relaxed enough to sleep. Don't read in bed an exciting book, or watch TV just before bedtime. READ a very boring text book like chemistry and that will have you nodding off. Chamomile Tea may help relax you, or over the counter herbal supplements made to help you sleep better.

People all over the world have thanked us for making these available, particularly at no charge. They're all designed to help you deal with tension, stress and anxiety, and to enjoy a good night's sleep.
Not every one of these techniques alone will get you to sleep, but a few of them at least should prove successful. Needless to say, there's no guarantee, and no attempt to provide medical advice.
With that caveat out of the way, we can only wish you good luck. And a good night's sleep.

Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress, dietary and medical
problems. By making small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly, insomnia can be
cured. I found the information at http://tinyurl.com/jfzpz useful
for getting sleep.

I have trouble sleeping too and I don't like to take pills. One thing that sometimes works is something I learned in yoga. You need to focus on relaxing. Start with your feet and imagine the tension leaving them, then move up to your ankles, then calves, and so on. It doesn't always work, but it's something to try.

ok, i may not be an expert in this, but is there anything on ur mind that might be bothering u? if there is that might be the reason, so it would be better to talk it out with someone, maybe even expressing it through writing might help.if not maybe u should definetely see ur doctor or something. good luck.
