a butterfly, I'm getting a butterfly on my birthday next friday. Or you could get a rose or a fairy.

get something written on ur wrist. nice and small but still noticable and cute, but cool. get ur initials or maybe a religious symbol (ex: a cross if u r a christian or catholic religious person) or a small animal or something of significance to ur personal life or culture or nationality or heritage (ex: if u were irish u could get a lil 4 leafed clover). well, there are so many possibilities, but as for where to get it i'd say ur wrist. hopefully my ideas helped and good luck!

once you get something youre stuck with it.
don't get something random, and likewise think twice about something cliche' (meaning something alot of people have gotten) UNLESS it has a deeper personal meaning to you.
think about where you're going to put it, because parts of the body will sag later on in life..do you really want to pay alot of money for a stretched out picture? I think not.

pick a word...that has a lot of meaning to you..like faith or strength...mine was freebird...as in the skynyrd song..i am gonna get that on the back of my neck...so i can at least get a job and cover it up when necessary...dont get a tramp stamp...that'll look like hell in 10 years

If you have to ask you aren't ready to get one. What you get tattooed on your body should be something you come up with yourself... something that you are sure that you want.. not something thats suggested by strangers on the internet

I think something on your foot, wrist, shoulder, or lower back would look nice. try googling some tatto designs for ideas and placement.
