If you are having doubts, don't do it. My daughter was 5 when she got hers (and she asked for them), my son was 6 (and he asked for it). There's no rush, sweetie.

I of course wanted my daughters ears pierced.
But you have to keep in mind that your child has a mind of her own. She may not want her ears pierced.
Leave it up to your daughter, Let her make the choice, and make it a special moment if she does. I waited, she wanted hers done when she was 7, we made a special day of it!

Why does a three month old need ear rings? Did she ask for them? Wait until she is old enough to deside for herself. Better yet when she starts school you can use it as a bribe. If you get strait A's you can get your ears pierced.

Enjoy your new baby. Worry about piercing her ears later. My daughter is 2 and we have not pierced them yet. But probably soon.

3 Months is too young to even think about piercing your Daughters Ears. If you do you could be in trouble with your state.

I pierced my daugther ears at 3 months and she was good. She sat there like a champ. But first make sure she doesn't have a skin condition like keloids or anything like that. And if you do decide, try and find a doctor who can do it.

well everyone has their own opinion, but it will hurt more later than if you do it now. Shes already big enough that her immune system can handle (so she wont get infections) the older she gets it may be scary for her you should do it now. My little girl cried for like 30 seconds but then stopped and started smiling again, its not a big deal and she will look so sweet after! (not that she didnt already) ;)

I would have appreciated the opportunity to make my own decision about having my ears pierced. Besides, it's hard to pierce babies because they are so tiny -- if your baby is unlucky like me, she'll grow up with very crookedly pierced ears. Skip it.
