It is like this: Race doesn't matter. What matters, however, is the direction of your lives. If you come from a cultural background where you are expected to achieve and instead you date and fool around, you will be seen as a fluke and your interratial relationship flawed. I highly advice that you date according to your goals in life. After all, where would like to live a few years from now? If you marry the UPS guy you will watch every penny you spend. If you finish college and marry someone like you, you will live where you want, purchase what you want, and drive what you want. Many times we are criticized the worst by those who truly love since they are not affraid to make their voices heard. People who only tell you what you want to hear are not on your side. They are losers who just love likewise company. The reality of a black man with a Philippina is that he must be an achiever otherwise he will be seen as one of the "many bums and gangster loosers who prey on our daughters." If he is ambitious, they kudos to you both.

I love an Asian women and have never even considered her as any other race than me, I'm just blind that way, she on the other hand has never dated anyone that wasn't white because she has no respect for what she calls foreigners (anyone from out side the US) especially Vietnamese like herself. So is she a racist? We are broke up right now but that's for other reasons. I wish I could find another just like her (other than the money drive and waste).
