It's tricky to find any kind of dog for that price, although I usually see daschunds for about $150 to $300, usually around $200. I always check the classifieds of the newspaper and look at the pet section in it constantly, even though I'm never actually buying a dog. And getting a dog from the humane society is harder than you would think also, by that I mean more expensive. I think we spent something around $175 to $225 for my dog.

check the humane society or the pound. If you don't want one with papers it won't cost that much. But if you want one with papers it'll cost more than that. Besides, if you adopt one from the pound you'll save a life too.
Check www.al.com classifieds section too, the huntsville times has their classfieds section on their so you don't have to buy a paper, and it's updated daily. www.enewscourier.com is The News Courier in Athens. www.decaturdaily.com is Decatur's.

Someone has 1 on petfinder (classifides) in either Ala or Ar it's not much around $100 or less
