he seems to not really know what he wants, if hes scared or just doesnt know if he wants a seriously relationship. It sounds like he really cares for you, but just doesnt know what he wants in the future. You need to ask him if he wants a serious relationship or not. And see what he says, tell him that you want this to work and the only way it will is if he knows what hes going to want.

He sounds really immature. like he really doesn't want to commit to you but he doesn't want anyone else to have you so he tells you what you want to hear when he thinks its time to string you along but as soon as he feels like he has slithered his way back in he gets frigid.okay girlfriend here's the deal this is a age old trick past down the generations from one no good dog to the other. try ignoring him for about a week its going to be really hard but he needs a taste of his own medicine. be very non sealant about it .what ever you do don't act like its intentional .just play busy. mark my words you'll see his true colors. if he loves you this will drive him nuts wondering what your doing .and my granny told me the worst thing you can do to a man is make him wonder let me know how it goes

Sounds like commitment issues, though I dont know how old he is, from my experience men who display erratic feelings are having doubts about setteling down, especially if he says he loves you one day and acts distant the next, it is the primortial man inside screaming a year and a half! omg!!! I guess i need to sh*t or get off the pot! Just my thoughts.

Sounds like he is not ready to commit to you. You may want to take step back and let him have a little more freedom and stop talking about your future together. However, if you are looking to get serious with somebody, it does not look like he is ready. It might be time to cut him and loose and move on.

He's scared of getting hurt. It probably has happened to him in the past. Talk with him. Work with him. He may just need a little encouragement.

This is really weird and some sicko story. Is not good way to play or have fun. Tell him to change the behavior or live - move on.
