I'm looking to travel to a country preferably in a warmer climate where the major language is preferably English or Spanish. I'm looking for a great exchange rate. Basicly, I'd love to buy a beer for $.05 and find a hotel room for $6. That would be great! Let me know. Thanks, Jon.

Try Barbados, it can cost you about 400 BDS or so for 2 weeks which means way less than 300 Canadian, if that's cool -- if interested, I suggest Pegwell Inn Guest House located in Welches, by Oistins. Great lady by the name of Rosemary Phillips. It's not fanciest as a hotel, but it's at least clean. :) Depending on where you live, you can always compare airfaresfrom a travel agency to another and go for the cheapest (is what I do). This country is an English-speaking one.

Dude, you've got to go to Brazil.
They don't speak Spanish in Brazil, but they answer to it.
Portuguese is the oldest Latin language, so Brazilians understand Spanish and French, and can take you where you need to go (in a cab) or get you the food you want, or whatever, if you speak in Spanish. The crazy thing is that they may get a little frustrated with you when you don't understand when they speak back in Portuguese.
Oh, it's great there. Good food. And people are kind!
Plus, you'll walk down Ipanima Beach in Rio and just say to yourself, "I'm on Ipanima Beach. I'm in Rio." --Not to mention Copacabana beach.
Oh--it's a must do!
And cheap--like you want.
If you want a jungle exp. --oh, go to Costa Rica. Knock yourself out. (yawn).

check out dominican republic, great hotel rates and cheap beer.
If you want to travel further, go to Spain, excellent weather and people, food if amazing, and beer is cheap. Go to Costa Brava, there's great night life and amazing beaches!

you can try some of the locatons in central america, nicaragua, costa rica, and other locations. I hear they are pretty inexpensive and trying to attract retirement crowds with their low cost of living and their beautiful scenery. Also people there speak spanish.

Why dont u try asia?its cheap here.yeah..cheaper than any european countries.
