In the Bible Daniel worked in babylon with the most idolatrious people, but that's different because his workplace was that of people practicing things God doesnt allow, but creation and big bang, they're totally denying God's creation of the world theory. Help, someone?

Eric, a true Christian (who's trusting in God enough to want to deny evidence of evolution) are the ones that will not do that, for they are of integrity and truly believe in God, and not thinking that destroying any evidence will help to proof God's existence.

Scientists, as a group, do not deny the existence of God, nor does science disprove the existence of God. Science presents evidence. And that evidence only strengthens my faith.
The Bible never presumes to describe exactly how God created only that He did and that it was orderly. (I don't presume to know how long a "day" is to the eternal God.)
Science tries to describe the process and if you investigate science, you will find that it only reinforces the wonder of the world and the universe. Even the guys who discovered the "big bang" said that it was really difficult to deny that there is a God when there is such order in the universe. In fact, the "big bang" is very reminiscent of the words in the Bible "and God said 'let there be light'". And Adam was created from the dust of the ground. Science agrees. Evolution tells you how it could have been done and that it all started in the dust - but it took millions of years. Furthermore, homo sapiens - us - is a leap in evolution. We are not related to the neanderthals, we are a different species.
Those who interpret the Bible literally are the only ones who have a problem with evolution and scientists. The Bible is not a scientific document. It was never meant to be. It was meant to teach that God created everything. Science does not contradict this.
The bottom line is, you either believe in God or you don't. It's personal. Scientists never attempt to influence faith. They only use the brains God gave them. Many people who don't believe in God have nothing to do with science, just as many scientists are very religious. Being a scientist is like an investigator - they measure and collect evidence. I can't see a problem with that.

Yes you're right about Daniel and then there's Joseph who was directly under Pharaoh.
If this is a job assignment; then be the "other voice" that says "OK we have the big bang BUT ..." What gasses were present to create a "big bang? In a noncombustible container see if those gasses truly create a "bang". Was there a residue left? Meaning, did that explosion from the gasses produce matter? Did something solid be formed when it exploded?
How did the gasses get there in the first place? How did they just "appear"? If solids were involved how did they just "get there"? How does something just "come" from nothing; including gasses? You may saw light when an explosion occured but what true solid form came from it? Present the "other side" because scientists are suppose to look at ALL sides of a theory and be able to answer the questions a theory says.
If you are working toward a career in that field; why? It opposes everything you believe. Unless you want to be the dissenting voice in the situation. With that, though, comes much criticism. Are you willing to handle that?
What it all boils down to is .. just how did something come from nothing?

It is not necessarily wrong as long as you do not ever forget Who it was who created science in the first place. Over the last several centuries many things that people once believed as fact have been disproven by science, such as the once held belief that the universe revolved around the Earth. Science is from God and who are we to say that God did not use science to create the universe. The creation story does not necessarily conflict with the Big Bang theory. The Bible says that God created the world in 7 days, but to God how long is HIS day? The length of a day is relative to how quickly a planet or moon rotates, so what right do we have to limit God's day to the length of 24 hours that we experience on this one planet, Earth? Afterall, when God first started creating in the Bible light did not yet exist, so the 24 hour day did not yet exist. So what was the length of God's first day of creation? 24 hours or a million years? All that matters is that no matter how long it took or how it actually came about it was by God's design. Just beware of the influence of fellow scientists who do not believe in God and try to "convert" you to a non belief in God.
May God bless you in your decisions.

No, it is not bad. A scientist, any scientist, respects the principles of hypothesis, theory, experiment, evidence, etc. It is exploratory and requires more than one confirmation. A scientist cannot just throw out some theory and have it accepted by the masses. Faith is something entirely different. It is, has been, and will continue to be acceptable to be of faith and science. As a sidebar, many more scientist convert to Christianity than Christians convert to atheism.

well i'm not a Christian nor am i in Big Bang. i'm a muslimah and Junior Scientist in Life Sciences -- i usually keep my profession and my religion apart. my religion lies at my home and place of worship. when i'm at my lab, i'm a total professional and keep everything else at bay. well it isnt bad for people to learn new things about evolution but i feel that people should be able to draw a line between profession and faith. that way both things really work smooth. God says that u should excel in virtues and education of this world and His world.
have a nice day. peace to all.

Not everyone thinks that the Big Bang theory disproves the Bible. I would assume that atheists who misuse science to attack religion are to blame, not the scientist themselves.

Many scientists are Christians, particularly in the field of medicine. I don’t see how it could be wrong as long as you are capable of keeping faith and scientific inquiry separate. Science will never prove or disprove the existence of God. Christian faith should not be the slightest bit threatened by scientific advancement.
Also, consider that Jesus frequently used observations from nature in his parables. Doesn’t that suggest that we are meant to study and appreciate the natural world?

I am a scientist! And Catholic!
I don't know where you get the idea that Creationists don't believe in the big bang. What's wrong with the idea that God created a huge mass of matter and then let it bang? then he took one of the peices and made earth.

Christians need never fear Truth. I see no conflict between them anyway. God said, Let there be Light, and BANG! There was light. So what if scientists call the event a cosmic egg? That's just semantics. And I see no reason why God wouldn't USE evolution as just another tool in His toolbox. It should be interesting to learn just how He did it.
