Check out the preschool magazine "Mailbox", as well as sites such as perpetualpreschool.com. You can also take digital photos of the steps, put it into your Word program, and make up little step-by-step cards that way. Then you can mount and laminate them for future use.

If you're not good at drawing you can first do it yourself, take pictures of it and put plastic around the pictures (so you have it for other occasions to).
