Maybe they're jealous of you...

What are the circumstances? It's easy to throw out a one-line question to bait people into making certain kinds of answers, but without details, this is a meaningless exercise. If this is the punchline to some cutesy inside joke, forgive my ignorance.

Everyone has bad days - if a friend ignores me I just assume that they have bigger fish to fry at that moment, and that my feelings are secondary to what is happening at that moment to them. As a friend, I extend that line of common courtesy, and do not assume that I am being slighted, as they have earned my friendship through many other means than one slight, or even a series of slights. I do not assume the worst of them, especially without finding out the source of their difficulty. If we can't give our friends the benefit of the doubt - how can we consider them friends.

Too many people go out of their way to take offense to too many things - and I would hate to lose a friendship over an assumption, especially when assumptions can so easily be incorrect. When you assume, you make and a s s out of u and me...

I know that in time, I will find out the why.

As to the proof about God, well, for some their is plenty, even though none is necessary. Ignorance is in the eye of the beholder, I guess.

Ignoring someone who has been a friend, is burning a bridge with that person. Generally, I've found that burning bridges is a self-destructive habit. I know because I used to do it as a defense mechanism alot, when my pride or feelings got hurt. Instead of taking the tough way out (the mature way) talking it out, I would just cut and run. Not say anything... just sort of take my toys and go home! I know people who have done that so much they have just about lost everyone in their lives that they cared about. It's not worth it. If you act mature, you'll become more mature.

As for believing in a god....well, I know plenty of ignorant people who believe in God, and plenty of ignorant people who don't. I also know highly educated and intelligent people who believe in God, and plenty who don't.

I think believing is a function of your ability to live with uncertainty...like a half finished puzzle that you know you won't be able to finish...yet you continue to be a seeker and to hope. But that's just my thoughts.

Hoping the best for you...

Since ignorance is 'not knowing', I don't think ignoring friends without explanation is ignorance, but rude and selfish.

And in a totally unrelated thought, believing in a God without proof is called faith, and many believers faith is based on subjective proof, that being their personal experiences.

I do hope, however, that you don't have a friend ignoring you. I know how hurtful that can be.

Can you add more detail to your question! Why you are ignorant if you are ignoring a friend without saying why? If your friend ignores you then you should know that there is some thing wrong about you, therefore it is your job to figure it out. Sometimes it is hard to tell Why you know. I don't think a girl will truely tell you why she leaves you.

Yes!

It sounds like you're having some issues with your freinds. It sucks, I know.

Answer this: are they still your friends?

Is it cool if God still believes in you, although you're having some rough times? Can he still be in your life, even though you're going through a period of looking for some meaning, and maybe some proof...?

Ignoring people you call friends is just rude. And another way to speak of rude people is to call them ignorant.
Believing in God is a matter of faith. By definition there can be no "proof" since I have to "believe" it.

the proof of gods existence is the spirit of god.when a person opens there self's to the spirit of god that spirit begins to work in there life's. and then the proff is there in there life's. it is very simple you ask with faith that the spirit of god will come into you. and if you wont to have gods will in your life you ask that of it, and if you wont to know an answer to a question., you ask. you close your eyes and be still and there will be a very quiet voice that will actually answer you, but you of little faith have NO idea what it is i am saying.

Not just "anybody" can get that proofs...
Real believers are special among the masses...and believe me, many people say they believe but they dont.

Allah knows best...and alhamdulliah I had my proofs.
