No, if it was individuals within a certain race.
Generalizing a whole race as "unattractive" may mean that you haven't had enough exposure to that particular race or that you may have some preexisting negative views to make you feel that way.
If it was all races but your own, then maybe you might be on the border of being racist. What your situation seems to indicate is that you just lack exposure to this particular race.
Ever hear the phrase "There's good and bad in everyone"?
Preference works the same way. You just haven't met enough individuals.

Never, everybody has there own preference. I used to think there was something wrong with me because I wasn't attracted to my own race, but i came to the conclusion that you just can't change what you like best, and I am so happy now because I have absolutely beautiful children.

I don't think so. I think it is realistic to think through the problems you are willing to face in a serious relationship and what you feel you can handle. I would not want to date outside my race only because I would not want to fight through the battles of racism from others. And I would not want a child to be confused or have a hard time because of it. I admire those who have more courage than I do, but I admit my limitations.

Not liking someone does not make a person racist.. But here you are talking about entire race... !!!!
I am not sure how is it practically possible for someone to say that he does not like entire race,... one can say it only if he has known every individual of entire race... again that is next to impossible...
It is illogical to say that one particular race has no one who is likable or attractive....
So I would request an introspection to check that you are really not a racist...
Good Luck

It depends on if you are talking just about physical appearances( then, no it is not racism) or if you have something against people of that race entirely (that would be racism). I am not physically attracted to certain races, but i do have friends that are within those races.

i do not imagine you're racist. i imagine in case you've been disregarding an complete race of people as unattractive via color of their epidermis; it could be racist. some those who attempt this are consciously racist, and others have racist ideologies nevertheless ingrained in them from their upbringing, without understanding it. in case you in elementary words do not locate this actual guy eye-catching, and he in simple terms takes position to be black, then no, i do not inevitably imagine that's racist. I do, even with the indisputable fact that, imagine that him harping on you, and turning your valid rationalization for no longer wanting to bypass out with him right into a race challenge makes HIM racist. Genetic research have shown that the chemical compounds in our brains have a tendency to have an interest in human beings whose genes are equivalent to ours, yet diverse adequate so as that when we combine our genetic information through having little ones, there is adequate variety to ensure the little ones have good immune platforms. So biologically, there's a reason we are in touch in the individuals we are in touch in, and there is not any longer some thing incorrect with that, nor might want to we replace it, even with if we would have loved to. charm (or lack thereof) it quite is heavily inspired through cultural or societal pressures, even with the actuality that, might want to be some thing that bears wondering about extra deeply. In a sense of suitable and incorrect, there is easily no longer some thing incorrect with liking someone of yet another ethnicity, and there should not be some thing preventing us from pursuing such relationships, could we favor to. yet that would not recommend so that you could sense to blame for no longer being biologically in touch in someone, in simple terms because we stay in a united states with an unlucky racist historic previous. each and every so often we in simple terms favor to enable bypass of our a variety of of dangle-united statesand prejudices and enable nature take its direction. And that works both procedures.

No because I am not attracted to a black guy but my sister is biracial. you are racist when u think that just because they are a certain color that you are better than them because your not that color. or when you have a pre judgement abou them without knowing the person.

Not at all. Its all about what you personally like. It has nothing to do with racism - There are plenty of beautiful people all over the world, some find desireable, and others don't...
