the bigger the boobs, the smaller the waist, etc, etc. but when you ask a question that is related to men's looks or endowments you suddenly become shallow and unfair....

Men's natural sexual attraction is visual, women's is emotional. It's an "ugly" fact. We want to spread our seed and your nature is to find a protector. When women DO go for looks, they go for bigger and fitter, hence better protectors. Height has very little to do with attraction in most men's eyes. Society is changing much more quickly than genetics.

Great topic! You're right, there's nothing wrong with it. The people that have issue with it are generally the insecure ones. In my reality if a woman doesn't like me the way I am, then guess what? There's always another woman out there who will. I have no issue with it. If a woman prefers a taller, hotter, more fit guy, then why not? That's HER personal preference!

I remember I was dating a former Hawaiian Tropicana model and some of my female friends were like "Oh, so that's what you like?" Which was funny because I had to tell them "well, yeah! It's what MOST men like."

I'd like to correct you though, men do NOT base attraction on looks. That's just how we are made biologically, psychologically, and chemically. STudies have shown while there are a small % of men that do not gauge attraction on looks they are a very SMALL minority. Most men were born being very visual. This is something some women don't like to hear. The good news is that not all men want barbie dolls or clones (really!).

Every man has unique tastes. Some men are chubby chasers. Some men are *** men and prefer the J.Lo and Vida types. Some men like the tall, thin waif-like models (trust me, MOST men do not really go for that look). Some men like big-boned women. Me, I'm partial to tall women and routinely date women taller then me. I also find it a great challenge when a woman tells me "you're too short" (I'm 5 ft 8 inches) and then a few mins later she's giving me her phone #.

It's totally OK for women. I have no problems with it. BRING IT ON!

What reality do you live in?
Everyone is initially attracted by looks. It is the first sense you use unless you are trying to find a date in a chat room and that is a totally different insanity.
First looks, then the person either deepens the attraction with their personality or they don't.
To say that women don't base their choices of men on appearance really isn't realistic. Eyes, smile, butt, chest, chin, hair, hands, muscles... every girl has their own physical list of attributes.

i think of a gay could be sexual interested in a girl, quite if he be attentive to her nicely or had generic her a protracted time. There are gay adult males who marry a woman and had toddlers with the help of her and he had hid his sexual alternatives from his better half. i think of the gay guy isn't any diverse from the heterosexual male, because of the fact he will each so often see the best factors on a woman that had attracted his interest upon her, like her butt or her lips or her eyes. There are adult males who prefer the companionship of a reasonably male, and that i had considered a great number of them who're very lots in shape and all mutually, like wow! There are gay male who like the intelligence and fulfillment of yet another gay male who has carried out lots in his existence, besides as of a woman likes.

Shallow and unfair you say. I didn't know that male or female lets not pretend you have to feel attraction there what you going to do pretend there someone else and put a paper bag over them. Its reality both sexes im sure do this.

This might have more to do with the fact that women spend so much time, money and effort on there looks. Men see this and feel that it must be important.

People usually have higher expectations from women I suppose. When a guy sleeps around, its ok but if a woman does, they are known as sluts. Who knows? Its unfair but I have gotten used to it.

Because women claim a moral and emotional superiority over men. You are throwing the whole agreement out of whack.

Because some men are insecure. They like to look at pretty things, but they don't like to be told they don't measure up to our expectations. I think women are expected to look beyond all that and men aren't. (Why else would we be dumb enough to cut our legs, etc., up with razors?)
All in all, it's just part of the game.

Because men are dogs and their way is right and our way is wrong! LOL, it sucks but that happens when the penis pretty much rules the world. If you don't want to date someone that isn't all that great looking, then don't. So what if you're called shallow? My main thing is this....If you're not even the least bit attracted to them, it'll never work!
