Ok me and my brother got in a fight yesterday so my dad sed we couldn't watch T.V. so me trying to make things better was like "ok i can do that i think i deserve it and i mean it's just a week!" so yeah my bro just start watching T.V. so i told him dad wuz gonna get mad. I told my dad and hez all "O well just next time i'll do something worse" im like WUT!!!!!! if it would've been me he would've been like "o im so dissapointed" and then i told my dad that my bro wouldn't turn his friggin loud stereo unless i turned it down. I had told my big bro that lives in another state, told me just calm down and don't do what he tells you just talk to dad and he'll take care of it if you fight w/ ur bro then you'll get all the blame but if you w8 and talk ur dad will understand. YEAH RIGHT!!!! i did exactly as he told me and my dad sed "GAWD, why can't you just leave ur brother alone, ur always provoking him to fight" I was just.......wow! I had been so happy that day and he just.......ruined it.

ok my bro is 3 yrs older then me, and i have 2 more older bros that don't live w/ us, my mom is deseased, and im just sick of my dad mentally abusing me!!!!!

Take a deep breath. Don't sweat the petty things pet the sweaty things. Sounds like you are making a mountain out of a mole hill. You are letting things get to you way to easily. Start trying not to let things around you get to you so much. Sometimes brothers may do things just because they know it will get on your nerves. Find a good book and find a nice spot to yourself.

Many parents take the side of one of their kids over the other. It is terribly unfair. The best you can do is just let things go. I know how hard this is, but you will have to do it. If you don't you will be perceived, by your dad, as even worse and this will give your rotten brother even more pleasure.
Just get a good education and get the heck out of that house. When you have a family of your own, you will do a much better job since you are going through so much now.

Honey you need to sit down with your father and tell him exactly how you feel. Like you are not as good as your brother. What would have happened to you if you would have turned on the television. Seriously tell your dad that you feel like he care about your brother more than he does you. It will make him feel guilty, I know I am a mom of 46 and I am very sorry that you have lost your mother. I am sure it is very hard for you. But listen dude sit down with your dad and after he has had time to think about what you are telling him I am sure that he will be the one apologizing. It is quite unfair. My father liked my brother better than me and told me so, and treated him very preferencially, and now I have nothing to do with either of them. Some families are like that. Find some one that you can talk to about it. He may always take the boy's side, and just try to go your own way and not give them a reason. It stinks, but some day he will need help, and then you can help him, or tell him to kiss your butt.

I guess what your dad is saying is that you should not become the enforcer in the household ... In the end your father lets him get off scot free and theres nothing u can do about it , which sucks!
Just do the right thing and dont worry about shouting at ur bro ... if he pumps the stereo just mention it to him after the event... but not in a confrontational way ...if he continues to do things that annoy you ... mention this to ur dad at a time when he is relaxed and in a good mood ...

im sorry to tell u this is not going to stop, i used to get beatten by my mom and dad for sh1t my brothers did, theres always favoritism in families the best u can do is not get bothered by it, get involved in after school programs that way u dont have to be dealing with this on a day to day basis... even if your brother is wrong walk away from arguments otherwise your gonna let it get to the point where u do something stup1d to get away from the problems
