Age has nothing to do with a relationship. My step dad is 60 and my mother is 40, and they get along better than any people I have met. Age is not important, and I think a difference in age actually helps things when it comes to thinking, and stuff. That way you have different answers, instead of growing up the same, living near the same, same news, same this, same that. I hope you have the best of luck and that things work out! Much <3!

There's nothing at all wrong with that!! I don't think age matters at all. I am 40 and I've dated guys who are older who are way more immature than the younger guys I've dated. Plus, the bonus of going out with younger guys is they're not as jaded and sour about women and they have a lot better attitude.

The guy I'm dating now is eleven years younger than I am, and I haven't had a problem with it at all.

Have a great time with your guy!!

36 and 24 is alright to me. If it was the other way around and he was 36 and you were 24, it would not be that big of a deal. For some reason, when the woman is older it's a bigger deal.

stop thinking and stop worring about what others think. What matters and what is going to make this relationship work is how you feel for one another. do you love him and does he love you, do you both want the same thing than if the answer is yes than you have nothing to worry about. The only problem yous will run into is children, if you want kids than soon will be the time for you to want them you dont want to wait for another five or ten years, but is he ready, thats something you need to disscus, as well as marraige, if you both come to a agreements on these two things then thats fine, as long as hes grown up and knows what he wants. There is no problems, and i wish you both happiness in the future!

Demi Moore recently married a man about 10+ years younger than she is....she says she is happy and so did he. My husband is 8 years younger than I am and we have been married for 23 years. Age only matters when one is robbing the cradle, dating jail bait, etc. in my opinion.

my husband and i are 15 and a half years apart. It works very well for us.
Go by personality. Age gaps make a difference in joke telling and the odd comment that one or the other may not get but overall it doesn't make a difference and can make for a very strong relationship because you both come from different places in life and can understand each other differently than your peers.

My Mom was 16 years older than my dad and that was 36 years ago so I know it definitely is ok to date someone younger today.
Personally I would think ahead of just dating, what if it gets more serious, do he want children, do I still want children. Of course if you not planning on getting to serious than you don't have to worry just go ahead and have fun.

Not at 36/24. Just know you won't always be on the same page. Just have fun with it and see where it goes. Good luck!
