The government has said the virtual fence will eventually cover 6,000 miles along the Mexican and Canadian borders in efforts to make them secure. It has not placed a price tag on the project.

They've already funded 5 + billion towards the virtual elements in the bill they passed Friday along with the 1.2 billion down payment on the fence. Boeing has the contract.

Cool, huh?

A fence is useless unless employers are punished for hiring illegals.
Go after the people who hire illegals. Take all their profits they made from hiring illegals.

A FENCE can keep people IN as well as OUT. There's something very fishy about a FENCE AROUND the UNITED STATES. It's getting scary out there.

I always used to say one of the great things about the US is that we don't have a fence around us. I guess I can stop saying that.... jeez.

hey--stay on this. Follow the money. Another 67 million dollar hand out to his buddy's. How on earth could they allocate the funds without taking bid's? Hang in there--it'll all be over in Nov.!!

Yep, and boy will that tick Mexico off. They have already told us NOT to do that!!! Imagine it, doing something Mexico doesnt want why they may actually have to help their people instead of driving them like cattle to the USA.
