Israelites= Hebrews, and these are the names that appear in the bible to describe the "people of Israel": Israelites after Jacob that was named "Israel" ("he who struggles with god" in Hebrew), and Hebrews for the fact that Abraham came from the "Eber" ("the other side" in Hebrew) of the river Euphrates.

The people of Israel ("Israelites", "Hebrews") were divided to 12 tribes; each tribe was a descendent of a son of Jacob: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph (and his sons: Manasseh, Ephraim), Benjamin.
The tribes lived peacefully with one another in a kingdom that was called "the United Kingdom of Israel" from the 11th century BCE, but in 928 BCE, after an interior crisis and rebellion, the kingdom was split into to different kingdoms: the kingdom of Israel, that was now the kingdom of the ten rebelling tribes, and the kingdom of Judah that was the kingdom of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin (the kingdom was set in Jerusalem).

In 721/2 BCE, the Assyrian empire took over the kingdom of Israel, and exiled the tribes that were in it. Today they are known as "the lost ten tribes", as no one really knows for sure what had happened to them.
The kingdom of Judah was still free, but in 598/586 BCE the Babylonian empire occupied it and exiled the "Jews" (Yehudim- "people of Judah" in Hebrew) to Babylon. After only 70 years the Jews were allowed to come back to Israel and they were practically free.

The people who are now called "Jews" are actually the descendants of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin.
We are also part of the Israelite/ Hebrew nation, but the specific origin of our culture is "Jewish"- the tribe of Judah.

People are gonna get angry when explain this to you but here goes. The Jews Israelite split happened after the temple was built. The northern 10 tribes (all but Judah and Benjamen) split off something to with the erecting of the temple hard work no representation unfair this or that you get the idea. They had different Kings Prophets all that. Then there was a war. It says in there somewhere ALL the Israelites were taken over and that they were dispersed to every where else but where they lived b4. There is a lot of disagreement as far as where they went. example some folks have a lot of names who start with VAN THIS OR THAT some think these are the descendants of DAN one of the 10 tribes. The sumaritins of Jesus time were not of these tribes they were people who had moved in and because they were not very successful thought they were not in sync with the God of that land and therefor learned the Israelite religion but they had no genetic standing thus the ill favor from the jews (tribes of Judah and Benjamen)
So in strict accordance with scripture there actually are no known Israelites today. Only Jews.

Israelites have one thing that Jews don't. The bloodline. That is why it's against the rule to mix sexually with other nations. God's blood run through their veins. The Hebrews are the direct offspring of a real God. Jesus is from the tribe of Judah. Moses and his brother Aaron were from the tribe of the Levites. That bloodline has gotten mixed up today, but Yahweh is coming back down here with a DNA test and he will be separating all of his children from the imposters.

The Jewish people are a nation, but not all the Jewish people have the faith of Abraham. The people who believe God, as Abraham did are called Israelites. Remember Christ said "I came to the house of Israel."

Jews are re-invented in the Bible and Judaism was invented after the Bible, by Christianity, out of the confusion of the Hoax of the Crucifixion in which only Two Thieves were crucified.

Yopu will not find Judaism in any Scripture and the Israelites were Muslims who were so named by Ibrahim.

Israel today know they are Yahuudi and Yahuudi are Penitents who were made one people under Musa and split into Yahuudi and Nazarenes by Christ, but became a part of the cover-up of the crucifixion of two thieves that set Christ free as Jews with their Sadducees and Pharisees.

AMEN!
