What kind of a discount can i get with a car dealership.. going into the army for active duty?
i mean... would i still need a co-signer if i was in the military??? and would i have a better chance of having a application approved??

Once you are in the military, most major manufacturers give you an extra $500 or so on top of other rebates and discounts, etc. Generally you will be able to get an application approved fairly easily, especially if you join the credit union that serves your base and get the loan through them. They understand the military and are set up specifically to serve you best!

This might be the strangest reason to join the military.
It will not help your credit but it will not hurt it either.
Some car dealerships give small rebates & others purposely rip of the military. Bases often i.e. Ft Benning & Ft Drum (new Commander) has a black list for companies that cheat soliders - you can not deal with them at all.
It encourages fair deals but not special deals.

when i was in the military i decided to buy a $8000 car. i had $3000 cash to put down and finance the rest. no one would finance me so my parents had to cosign for me.
