First off, Any unusual pain in the abdomin should be checked by a doctor if it persists for more than 2 days. There are alot of things that it could be. It could be that you need a good **** and are constipated. It could also be a possibility that you did get pregnant but in a fallopian tube rare but can happen and your body would ovulate as it did not know it was pregnant yet and your receiving pain as the fetus is growing. I would say though that the best bet is not to trust any answer you get online and see an actual doctor. You can never be too safe with your health.

If you ovulated that day you're pregnant. I f you mean you menstruated that day, I don't know.
Adding details: Different women describe their pregnancy in different ways. If it's been at least a few days since you had sex, that bruised feeling which isn't an intense pain just a kind of mild pressure pain could be your uterus stretching. You'll continue to feel that for the next 3- 4 months. When the baby gets bigger, you'll start feeling another kind of pain between your thigh and groin. Another thing you'll feel around then would be the baby hiccupping if your belly gets cold some women think the baby is kicking, but kicks are stronger and later you'll recognize the difference.

You should go see your gynecologist to get a check up & get tested for STDs. And never ever have unprotected sex! If you are old enough to have sex you should be old enough to know not to do that.

You could be still ovulating, or you could be pregnant and last but not least you could have a STD or pelvic inflammatory disease. Use protection always, silly!

a lot depends on how long ago you engaged in sexual activity. if it was within the last few days/ week, it could be caused from the ovulatory phase. please keep in mind, your chances of concieving during this time is very high.

Maybe your pelvis is inflammed. Give it a few days, if it doesn't get better, see a physician.
