I would still not give up on applying to FAFSA.ed.gov for financial aid because it adjusts to the college tuition and besides it will allow you to tap into need based help at the college. Also, there are free membership scholarship websites. In addition, there are scholarships out there for Native Americans, so it is an idea to check with your tribe. Good luck!

The Secretary of Education has announced two new federal grants. The new grants will be available for the first time for the 2006-07 school year for first year students who graduated from high school after January 1, 2006 and for second year students who graduated from high school after January 1, 2005. First off, go fill out a FAFSA, if you haven't already. Secondly, contact the school you plan on transferring to and seeing what scholarships they offer. Thirdly, get an account set up on Fastweb. Usually all they send me are crappy essay contests, but where you're a native american, they may find some stuff for your race. Your state may also offer some scholarships that your FAFSA won't pull up, so check with them, too.
Good luck!

this question is astonishing asked of your practise Councilor, who has your records, is wakeful what colleges you're in a position to coping with and what you have sufficient money. it rather is his or her interest. Use that man or woman's skills.
